ESTABLISHMENT: The Institute of confidential secretaries of Nigeria was established as an umbrella body for secretaries in November 1993 under the corporate and allied matters Act 1 Cap 59 of 1990 and is recognized by the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with certificate number RC 23388. It is also recognised by the Federal Ministry of Education, Nigeria as a professional body.
